Members' Meeting
Definition
The Members' Meeting (Shain Sōkai) is the supreme decision-making body of an LLC (GK) or general incorporated association. In an LLC, 'shain' refers to members (investors), not employees. It decides important matters such as amendments to articles of incorporation and appointment of managing members. It is equivalent to a shareholders' meeting in a stock company.
