Overview
Labor insurance (労働保険) encompasses workers' accident compensation insurance (労災保険) and employment insurance (雇用保険). Enrollment is mandatory for any business employing at least one worker. The annual renewal (年度更新) takes place from June 1 to July 10, during which the finalized premium for the previous year and estimated premium for the current year are declared and paid.
