Labor Insurance
Definition
Collective term for workers' compensation insurance (労災保険) and employment insurance (雇用保険). All businesses that employ workers must enroll. Annual premium calculation and payment (年度更新) is required. Premiums are calculated based on total wages paid during the year.

労働保険の年度更新は毎年6月1日から7月10日までに行います。
The annual labor insurance (労働保険) renewal is done between June 1 and July 10 each year.
