Prefectural Tax Office
Definition
The Prefectural Tax Office is the local government office handling prefectural taxes. After incorporation, a Corporation Establishment Notification (法人設立届出書) must be submitted here in addition to the national tax office. Handles corporate enterprise tax (法人事業税) and corporate resident tax (法人住民税). Each prefecture has its own offices.
