White Return
Definition
White Return is the default tax filing method used when blue return (青色申告) approval has not been obtained. Simpler bookkeeping is acceptable, but filers cannot receive tax benefits such as the blue return special deduction or loss carryforward. Since 2014, all business operators are required to keep records, though double-entry bookkeeping is not mandatory.
