Employees' Pension Insurance Act

Definition

The Employees' Pension Insurance Act (Kōsei-nenkin-hoken-hō) governs the pension insurance system for company employees and civil servants. It establishes requirements for covered workplaces, insured person qualifications, premium calculation based on standard monthly remuneration, and types and amounts of pension benefits.
