Overview
GBizID is a shared corporate authentication platform provided by the Digital Agency (デジタル庁). A single account provides SSO access to 100+ government services. There are 3 account types, with gBizID Prime being the highest level for the corporate representative: • gBizID Prime: For the representative. Can be used for electronic filings as an alternative to electronic certificates • gBizID Member: For employees. Issued from a Prime account • gBizID Entry: Instant issuance but limited service access Primary uses include e-Gov (social and labor insurance filings), jGrants (subsidy applications), and JSSEC (security).
How to use
• My Number Card + smartphone method (recommended): Install the GBizID app, scan your My Number Card to apply. Reviewed and issued in 1–2 business days • Mail method: Download the application form, include a seal certificate, and mail. Issued in approximately 2 weeks • Requires the Corporate Number (法人番号), so apply after incorporation registration is complete • If using for e-Gov social insurance filings, obtain GBizID first, then create your e-Gov account
